When I was young...

I never needed anyone...
And making love...it was just for fun...
Those days are gone.
AALLLL BBYY MMYYSSEELLFF!!
Just playing!
Michael left for a week-long engagement in California, the Gold Rush State, yesterday. He will be doing things like the activity shown in the photo. I just have to give myself props for not shedding a tear. I was so worried about it for the 6 prep days leading up to it, and then I couldn't perform for the door way send-off. I was proud, but, when he called me 7 hours later to tell me that he and da boyz had arrived safely, he said that he was sort of sad that I didn't cry! I said, "Son, now don't act the fool! Big girls don't cry! If you're expecting tears to be dropping from my orbital-facial area, you got another thing coming, and you're about to get served!"
I was sad, but I kept busy folding laundry, which we washed at the filthy little laundromat one morning. It smelled like severe body odor. Not the clothes, the laundromat. It is a sketchy place, as places in St. George, Utah tend to be. Psyche.
Then, I dropped movies off in the drop box at the (Heaven bless them!) Hollywood Video on Sunset. Seriously. The one in Charlottesville was full of little buddies of mine. The one blonde kid knew me on sight, and didn't even ask me for ID, and we became so close that he stopped charging me late fees, and even looked up in this special book the locations of Hollywood Video Stores out here in Utah's Dixie. The other guy, the swarthy one with curly hair, used to talk hard-core LOST with me, and he also ceased to apply late fees to my tab.
Anyway, it was fast Sunday, and I fasted because I am so righteous. JK. But, I was starving and getting a little grumpy. So, when I finally had dinner, I got a headache from the glass of icy cold water, which, according to Wikipedia is common among women.
Then, Lindsey came over, which was way fun, and we watched ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. So good.
This time change is crazy, huh? It is almost 2 o'clock? Plus, we went to sleep at like 9 pm last night, like a little pair of losers!
Tonight, we are going to watch the sequel, and then on Tuesday night, perhaps something else entirely!
I think things are looking up.
I read "One Fifth Avenue" by Candace Bushnell, of SATC fame. It was definitely entertaining, but it betrayed me. When I picked it up at Barnes and Noble for 30% off, with my membership price, it swore to last me until my husband returned. Frailty, etc.

Sooo, I love your face.

And you and Sara will be friends. Dear Robert Downey Jr. How I love your beautiful intelligence. And I'm not married. (Is he?) That would throw a wrench in my little fantasy. Truly we were made for each other.
