Whilst the husby works on works, I wash some dishes and watch some memories.
Thank heavens for VH1, right?
I know, I'm a loser, baby.
But, truly. Seriously, dude. This is my life. Music is very important to me, and I have always jumped unabashadly from genre to genre. Some folks will answer, when asked what kind of music they like, "Everything but country," or "everything but rap."
Haters, how much you miss.
Vanilla Ice? Vogue? Heart-shaped Box? MmmBop? How about, "can you bounce with me, bounce with me, bounce-ba-bounce bounce with me?"
80's, 70's, 00's, this is how we, Generation X, do it.
They made an interesting comment about the "Man in a Box" song by Alice in Chaing. One of the comedian/actors that always make profoundly funny comments said that "Man in a Box" expressed the way that everyone in the nineties was supposed to feel. Like we didn't want the world to see us, 'cause we didn't think that they'd understand.
And I started thinking...
I often feel misunderstood, or like I don't belong.
That's just me. But it is also my effing generation! Remember the nineties. Those are my peeps.
